I’ve been to Anuttara multiple times since buying the groupon a few months ago. I am somewhat addicted! I’ve taken classes in many places, but this is the best yoga experience I’ve ever had. The studio is beautiful and very peaceful. They offer a great selection of courses at various times and for all levels. The hot yoga is an amazing workout!
I LOVE this yoga studio. Everyone is nice, and not pretentious like a lot of other yoga studios. The vibe is very chill, the teachers are knowledgeable, there is a nice array of classes throughout the day so no need to adhere to a 9-5 schedule in order to get a good teacher. Parking can get tricky during the busiest classes, but the Walgreens across the street seems to be ok at lending space. I wish they would open one close to Coral Springs so I could go everyday!!
I’m a complete novice when it comes to yoga having never practiced before. Starting anything new can be a bit daunting at 55! I must tell you, it was love at first downward dog! The teachers are all very encouraging and kind. Gentle instructions and corrections have helped me enjoy my practice even more. The Raja yoga is a deep intense stretch which leaves me with a ‘natural high’ when it is over. The gentle yoga classes, the vinyasa flow and the qidong classes are all great! Yoga is truly the only thing that I have ever experienced where whatever I can do is good enough! Anuttara is clean, friendly, helpful, encouraging and a wonderful community to be a part of!
LOVE it! It changed my life!
Anuttara is an excellent yoga shala and yoga school. Love this place…I started taking the Raja class in 2010, and fell in Love with it right away! It truly helped me change my life. I kept going every week and eventually I decided to take the 100 hour Raja teacher training and then the 300 Hatha teacher training right afterward. Philip Christodoulou is an amazing teacher of truth…I am forever grateful, mind, body and soul
This place is fantastic, in fact, it’s spoiled me. I can no longer go to any other yoga studio. The smell of sage, the temple-like hot room, and the great instructors have me thinking that there is only one place to go for hot yoga!
Be prepared to sweat.. A lot! Sweat all your toxins out.. It feels amazing! Most of the classes are great for all levels. Bring a beach towel (and yoga mat), an extra towel, a big water, and flip flops (no socks or shoes in the yoga room). Also, parking can get crazy here, especially during the later classes. Park at Winn Dixie or Walgreens if the parking area is overloaded.
“Wow! Today was my first experience at this studio and I was impressed! I felt like Julia Roberts in Eat, Love and Pray … even included the chanting! The atmosphere was incredible and the male instructor was amazing in his teachings and also in his beliefs! However, I just came back from a ski trip in Austria and my legs are still recovering … this is not a beginners class, be prepared to bend like a pretzel and sweat like an athlete! I was surprised at how quickly the poses were flowing, I prefer a little more “pause and reflect” while doing some poses. This studio is for the “serious” Yogi’s … if you’re just starting out and introducing Yoga to your life … maybe wait to add this class until you have some sessions under your belt and you feel comfortable to go to the next level. Again, the atmosphere at this studio is by far the best I’ve seen so far … and I would recommend it to anybody who is ready for their next Yoga challenge! Namaste! ღ”
