ANUTTARA RAJA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
PART 1: PHILOSOPHY
Feb. 5 – March 12, 2017
This course centers on study of the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali — the essence of Raja, or Classical, Yoga.
In Part 1, students learn Sanskrit basics, and the psychology and philosophy that are the foundation of Anuttara Raja Yoga. We will break down each Sutra, word by word, and delve into its meaning.
PART 2: METHODOLOGY AND PRACTICE
March 12 – April 15, 2017
In Part 2, students learn the practical application of the Sutras as per the physical practice of Anuttara Raja Yoga. Here, there is an emphasis on anatomy and physiology as it pertains to this practice of yoga.
Students must complete Part 1 before proceeding to Part 2.
Students meet from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your space. Tuition includes unlimited yoga classes for the duration of the training. Tuition for Part 1 only is $1,800, with a 100-hour certificate of completion. Tuition for the full course (Parts 1 and 2) is $3,500, with 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher certification. Pay in full by Feb. 1 for either option and receive a 10 percent discount! Payment plan available upon request.
An optional all-inclusive weekend at our lakeside retreat center in Ocala National Forest is included at no extra charge.

Anuttara Yoga Shala 100-Hour Advanced Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training
June 11 – July 16, 2017
This course will deepen your understanding of the methodology, philosophy and physiology of Anuttara Yoga. Candidates should be registered yoga teachers or advanced practitioners who have a strong Vinyasa Yoga practice of at least 6 months!
Sessions are 5:30-9:30 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. In addition, candidates are required to attend a minimum of four Anuttara Vinyasa classes per week. Unlimited classes are included in tuition throughout the five weeks of training.
Tuition is $1,800. Pay in full by June 7 and receive a 10 percent discount. (Previous 200-hour Anuttara graduates receive a 50 percent discount.) A $500 deposit is required to hold your spot. Payment plan available upon request.
As with other Anuttara teacher training programs, an optional all-inclusive weekend at our lakeside retreat center in Ocala National Forest is included at no extra cost.
100-hour Anuttara graduates receive a 25 percent discount on all future teacher training programs at the shala.
We staff our unique Hatha, Raja and Vinyasa classes with the best Anuttara-trained and certified teachers. If you are a registered yoga teacher who would like to be trained in the Anuttara method, this abbreviated course will qualify you to teach at Anuttara schools!
Anuttara Yoga Shala 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
Oct. 1 – Dec. 10, 2017
Share your passion for yoga with others and take your personal practice to a whole new level! Anuttara Yoga Shala offers 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training every fall. Come learn the Sacred Science in the traditional setting of an authentic Yoga Shala. We have three practice rooms with dedicated facilities for teacher training.
The course includes an introduction to Sanskrit, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga History, Physiology & Anatomy, Comparative Religion, Comparative Linguistics, Stage Presence & Voice Projection, and the Business of Yoga. The graduate will be able to teach an all-levels Anuttara Sapta Krama Hatha Yoga class. This includes all the basic stock poses and transitions, with emphasis on logical sequencing and graceful transitions. Graduates will be proficient in teaching a hot yoga class as well as an unheated yoga flow, and qualify for RYT-200 certification with Yoga Alliance.
Candidates meet from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Candidates are required to attend at least four Anuttara Hatha/Vinyasa classes per week.
The 200 hours earned in this course also can be applied to Anuttara’s RYT-500 certification. An optional additional 100 hours in Yoga Philosophy is available at no extra cost, with a written exam offered in January 2018. At Anuttara, we set the bar high. We believe the more highly trained the teacher, the better. We offer our 200-hour graduates 50 percent off all future trainings, making it extremely affordable to earn your full 500-hour certification.

Tuition includes unlimited yoga classes at the Shala during training and an all-inclusive weekend retreat in Ocala National Forest.
Deposits are nonrefundable. Refunds on tuition payments are prorated (minus deposit) and anything remaining can be applied to Anuttara class packages.
Candidates will enjoy an optional all-inclusive 3-day weekend at the beautiful lakeside Anuttara Retreat Center in Ocala National Forest. Morning paddleboard meditations, suspension yoga, outdoor practice and fresh-air study among the trees, nightly bonfires and meals prepared by Vegan chefs. You will not get this anywhere else!
Anuttara provides a dedicated donations-based class in prime time slots (2:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays) for graduates to have an opportunity to teach. Also, Anuttara 200-hour graduates receive a permanent 50 percent discount on all class packages and future teacher training courses at the Shala.
